How to Style Curly Hair

Curly hair can be difficult to style. It is hypersensitive to the weather and the environment and naturally tends to be dryer than straight hair. And yet we see all these commercials with girls with beautiful curly hair. How do they do it?

It is all about the product.

1) You must use shampoo designed for curly hair. Wash your hair only two to three times a week or you may be stripping out the natural oils in your hair.

2) Use a conditioner designed for curly hair. Use just a small amount or you will end up with limp curls.

3) Use a styling cream like MOP - C-Curl Defining Cream. Again just put a dab in your hands and rub your palms together. Then work it through your hair.

4) Flip your hair over and begin to scrunch your curls. The cream will help mold them into luscious bouncy curls.

5) Finish with a styling spray like MOP C-System C-Curl Curl Refreshing Spray later in the day to help maintain the curl and fight frizz.

How to Have Beautiful Hair

Having beautiful hair boils down to a few factors:

1) The type of products that you are using on it.

2) The type of water you are using when you wash it.

3) The amount of times that you wash it.

4) How much you blow dry it.

5) How many times you treat it with chemicals like straighteners and color.

6) What your general health is.

7) The amount of stress in your life.

The products that you use can make a huge difference. Modern organic products yield results much more quickly because they are made with all natural ingredients. They are like vitamins for your hair.

The number of times that you wash your hair can make a difference, as well. Over-washing can strip your hair of its natural oils and under-washing can leave your hair looking and feeling greasy.

The type of water that you wash with can make a difference too. Unfiltered water can carry chemicals that can damage your hair. Go to the drug store or online and buy a water filter that you can attach to your shower. You will notice a huge difference in the look and feel of your hair and your skin will start feeling softer, as well.

Over blow drying and over processing your hair will take its toll. So add a once a week intensive moisturizing mask to your beauty routine to help repair damage.

Finally your general health and stress level can cause hair loss and breakage. Take a multi-vitamin, drink plenty of water and try meditating. All of these will help you feel better body, and mind.

Are Organic Hair Care Products Better?

Lately there is a huge surge in organic hair care products. Whereas before if you used them you were considered almost a hippy, now it is trendy to do so. The question is," Are they actually better than the synthetic ones?"

And the answer is in many ways yes.

Organic hair products use natural ingredients and are usually gentler on your hair. They help restore natural oils that over processing may have taken out. They are also better for the environment because they aren't putting chemicals into the soil when they are dumped. And these companies generally do not believe in animal testing.

So by using all natural products like Aquage Hair Products you are helping yourself look better and stay healthier, doing a good deed for the environment and helping to keep a few more animals out of the labs. What else is there to say?

Beauty Routine for Beautiful Skin

Skin care begins with a consistent beauty routine. This is not limited to what you do on the outside. Truly great skin is one that is nurtured on the outside and from within. Here are the basics:

Beauty On the Inside:

1) Drink plenty of water.
2) Eat raw vegetables and fruits whenever possible.
3) Limit caffeine consumption.
4) Limit processed sugar intake.
5) Exercise for at least 15 minutes a day.

Beauty on the Outside:
1) Buy only products that match your skin type.
2) Clean your skin daily.
3) Never go to sleep with makeup on. Use a makeup remover to take makeup off. Plain old sold usually will not remove all of it.
4) Exfoliate once a week.
5) Don't pick at acne. Keep a good product in stock so that your first impulse is to put the acne treatment on instead of pimple popping.
6) Use a toner after cleansing to balance your skin.
7) Use a moisturizer with spf of at least 30.

Taking care of your skin is not difficult. It just takes consistency.
